Passports & European Visa Requirements:
Passports can be renewed and obtained at most local post office locations. Double check this online with your post office.
To travel to Europe from the USA, US citizens will need to apply for an "ETIAS" (European Travel Information and Authorization System) which is essentially an electronic travel authorization, not a traditional visa, starting mid-2025. Once this becomes active, information will be posted here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en
Getting to Artimino - Flight & Train Routes
Our venue is approximately 30 minutes from Florence, the closest major city & capitol of Tuscany. There are no direct flights from the US to Florence and a connection is required. Google Flights is the recommended resource to use to find flights, which then allows you to book direct with airlines. Booking direct will always be the best rate.
The recommended option is to fly direct to Rome, and depending on your preference, take a train to Florence or rent a car. This is likely the most cost effective option.
The train is quicker than driving:
Train from Roma Termini Station to Florence (Santa Maria Novella Station)- 1 hour 36 mins (following 30 min air train from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station)
Train direct from Fiumicino Airport (FCO Rome) to Florence (Santa Maria Novella Station) - 2 hours 30 mins
Drive from FCO to Artimino - 3 hours 30 mins
